🖼️ The highlight of the programme will be the North-American premiere of Mussorgsky’s monumental masterwork, Pictures at an Exhibition, in an innovative new arrangement for piano and string quintet by Rudolf Leopold, bringing a dynamic reimagining of Mussorgsky's vivid musical imagery

🎨 The first half will shine a spotlight on two remarkable chamber compositions by women composers: Dora Pejačević's lush Piano Quintet, showcasing Romantic emotive melodies and harmonic depth, followed by Florence Price's spirited Scherzo from her Piano Quintet, beautifully infused with the rich cultural heritage of African-American idioms
