ELISA MILNER, violin
Elisa Milner is a collaborative violinist and violin teacher from Calgary. She is a member of the Red Deer Symphony and the Lily String Quartet and plays regularly with the Calgary Philharmonic. Elisa has a Bachelor of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Masters of Music degree from Kent State University. She has studied with members of the Calgary Philharmonic, the Atlanta Symphony, the concertmasters of the Cleveland Orchestra and the Royal Swedish Opera and with members of the Miami String Quartet.
She has played with many orchestras including the Akron Symphony, Youngstown symphony, Erie Philharmonic, West Virginia Symphony, Edmonton Symphony and the Calgary Philharmonic. Elisa has enjoyed performing and recording on her own and with the Lily Quartet with many artists such as Harry Manx, Josh Groban, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Reuben and the Dark, Matt Epp, Diana Krall as well as many local artists. Elisa loves teaching, collaborating and performing and stays busy keeping up with her three active children.
